Sophie Dahl's banana bread recipe

I wanted to share this recipe as I made a variation on it last night for tomorrow's Give Yourself a Hug Teddybear's Picnic in aid of the NCT - I added walnuts and sultanas but it's delicious as it is. Plus, it's incredibly cheap to make, especially if you can find a load of reduced bananas, or you've bought some for the urchin and he's refusing to eat them...

Plus, I get to share the gorgeous Teacups, Cupcakes blog (as I couldn't find the recipe on any kind of official Sophie Dahl page) which is full of beautiful recipes and vintage teacups (why do I never find beautiful teacups in the charity shops of Glossop?!)
